I missed doing a walk last week, I had intended to do a second walk up the East Lomond but missed it. So today when I got the chance to get out I decided to do both the East & West Lomond, which is what I’d have been doing this week anyway if things had gone to plan. This is my furthest walk so far, my feet will testify to that – I think I need better boots, or insoles.
The route began at Craigmead car park. I walked from there, round the lower path to the East Lomond car park, then I wento to the summit and back down to Craigmead. When I got back to the car I had a seat for half an hour, a couple of coffee’s and an apple then got on my way again to tackle the West Hill. It was very busy today, a lot of people out with kids & dogs.
See below for the summit selfie and full route along with my step counter. I’m not sure why the step counter didn’t catch the elevation changes! 2 Floors? 😀
